Volunteer Hour Reporting

BCHO is  providing Chapters a new method of reporting volunteer hours to use. The new method requires on-line access and provides a simpler method that automatically creates reports of the entered data. When looking at the sample report, on page 1 and 2 shows the data that was entered (it can be entered in any order, but the fields required fields must be filled out) and pages 3 through 9 are the different report pages that are generated automatically for use in your chapter, if you are having problems using the new method please contact web@bcho.org.

For Project and Crew leaders: Starting in 2024 BCHA is asking we also include the Trail name and number when reporting volunteer hours. Here is where you report this information being asked by BCHA. See page 3 of the BCHO Volunteer Hours Help Summary for more details on reporting this information.

Below are the forms and instructions from BCHA. These are included here only for your reference, if you wish to enter your volunteer hours and send them electronically to the chapter or state Volunteer hours coordinator, please download this Excel Spreadsheet and email it.

For 2024 Volunteer Hours are: $33.49 per hour, skilled labor is 1.5 x base, $50.24. BCHA has increased, per-miles, power, heavy equipment and stock days values to $1.00, $35.00, $140.00 and $125.00 respectively. These numbers have been applied to 2024 volunteer hours forms.
